Boosh! a Introduction :o

Hello everyone, in RL I'm Chris. 24 yrs old and engaged to a lovely lad that shares my interests What I tend to be involved pretty heavy with Cosplay. if anyone ever wants to check out my Deviant Art page to see what I've done (currently still trying to find all my stuff to throw up there from the last con I went to)feel free to ask for a link. In the last few years or so all my RP has been limited to LARP during cons or events with my Cosplay group. Which has been very fun but it's been longer than I'd like to actually RP in a MMO...last experiences being in Sword of the New World.

If there is one thing I love more than Cosplay, that would be Tokusatsu! Loosely meaning "Special Effects" in Japanese the Tokusatsu genre in Japan is compared to it's American counterpart shows Power Rangers, Masked Rider,etc (that had their rights bought and sorta kinda ruined. In perspective take the transforming heroes....now put some actual good acting and a way larger budget, not to mention a target audience that's much older than 10 years of age and there you have it XD I'm currently still training my skills to try and become a suit actor even if just for an american adaptation

Cool beans, man. Although I'm not really into anime at all, either, my friends and I have been going to ACen for years. I've cosplayed (in order of most to least recent):

-Albert Wesker (Resident Evil) - 2006
-Gippal (Final Fantasy X-2) - 2005
-Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop) - 2003

yea i passively watch anime now, it's mainly Toku and video games for me to get my cosplay from XD

To bad I didn't know you prior to that. I live 20 minutes south of Baltimore. I remember driving to work and checking the weather and traffic on XM and hearing pre-emptive warnings that the traffic in Baltimore would be bad because Otakon was in town. That was always a great con, but I just lost interest when my palet changed.

yea it happens, but no big deal i may go next year depending on guests and everything.
