Simple. You add a paragraph or two of text and it tells you which author your most like.

I personally got Ian Fleming for my classified post, and Charles Dickens for a page from a Dark Fantasy story I was working on.

I put in the opening of my novel manuscript and got...

    Dan Brown.

Excuse me while I go and weep in a corner. On the other hand, I wouldn't say no to Dan Brown's money...

It would seem that, depending on which and how much of each story written, an inter-lace of:

David Foster - Wallce, Raymond Chandler and H.P Lovecraft. The latter of which being especially unexpected.

Did you write about the blasphemous cyclopean horror that gibbers and tickles blasphemously under a blasphemous gibbous moon?

Edit: I then ran that sentence through "I write like" and was told it's a bit like Jack London. Laughing Methinks they have put insufficient data into their training set.

Mhmm, I'm thinking the analysis may be looking more toward vocabulary, grammar and writing style rather than theme or expression - still an entirely interesting perspective, though perhaps not as conclusive as may have been thought.

I just filled the box with the gibberish "herp derp" over and over again and I was told I write like William Shakespeare...

Strange, I was actually expecting Stephanie Meyer.
