The patch did nothing for me. I'm now crashing within 5 minutes of entering a district. There's no sense in me even trying to play this game right now. Better luck next week I guess.

Re: A Continuing Tale of Woe
Technology can never just work, can it.
What exactly is happening?
You can start and run the game fine, but when you join a district the game crashes?
Is *just* the game crashing, or does the whole comp crash?
Do you get a specific error message?
You've attempted to reinstall the game, I assume?
Is your graphics card driver up to date?
Is your soundcard driver up to date?
Do you have sufficient RAM/diskspace? (usually 2+GB and 10-15% of free diskspace)
Is your graphics card overheating? (maybe it needs to be cleaned of dust?)
Is your CPU overheating? (you may need a thermometer in your comp, if you don't already have one)
Does this happen for any other games/programs?

Re: A Continuing Tale of Woe
Well I guess I was just wondering if you were sure it's an APB program issue as opposed to a comp. hardware issue.
Hope you work it out!

Re: A Continuing Tale of Woe
Thanks for trying dude. Yeah, I've been through everything under the sun: drivers, bought additional RAM, reinstalls including DirectX, PhysX .NET Framework, C++ Framework you name it.
I might just about have this licked though but I'll need more time to check it out. Unfortunately, I'm locked out of my account now. ^_^
