Leaves of Absence

Sorry I've been MIA for so long. It started as a mild case of 'Nah, I don't wanna play APB right now' which spiraled into 'One... more turn...' of Civ IV which went extreme in 'Sure I'll take a vacation... in 3 hours!?' But I plan to start playing again and hopefully getting around to finally finishing the posts I've been working on forever. Of course school starts up soon and with Capstone Design, I'll be very busy again. But I should be able to remain more active then I've been.

The next week I'll be kinda afk - working two jobs as I've put in two weeks at the one where I work nightshift and have day-time hours at the new one. Hence my absence this current week.

I'm currently in the process of finding a place to live. It's been stressful and kept me from being as active in-game as I would like, though I don't have as much of an excuse for forum things.

I hope to be settled within the next week or two.

Housing on fixed income is tricky.

I guess I've already been gone for a while, but I'm just posting here to let you guys know I'm more or less done with APB for now. Maybe some heavy patching in the future will draw me back, but for now even the great community here can't make up for the utter headdesking frustration that crops up during gameplay.

Just some advance notice - I will be without internet on my desktop from Thursday to Monday as I'm moving back to school. I should still be on the forums regularly, but will not be in-game.

Edit: I should also mention that both classes, and my new radio gig start on Monday, so I'll have classes throughout the day until like...4-ish, then I'm on-air from 6-9 weekday nights. So my time in-game may become more limited for the immediate future.

Going to Colorado August 25th to September 1st. Will be back on the 2nd-ish.

I'll be gone from Monday to Thursday next week, going to the cottage.

I was trying to listen to the show, but I can't figure out the time zone difference. Is it one hour or two to the East Coast? If it is two then I am not sure I want to stop doing what I am doing at 9pm to listen to your goofy self... Metal Gear!

One hour, as far as I know. We're meeting with the station manager to talk about new segments (and...inadequacies with one of the cohosts) after the show tonight.

Returned! In new home. Spent a little time in-game, tho didn't get to talk to anyone.

Real life has me too busy with snow on the incoming in a few months. I may pop on, but only for a moment and/or if really needed. If there is a good RP with problems to solve, let me know and I'd dash on. I need some structure.

Real life has been kicking my ass recently and haven't and wont be on much for a bit.
