Well, I've just been playing it safe than sorry. But I will say I've reserved Sephr's name until the US servers go up to avoid any possible hiccups.

Agreed. Honestly I think the cap should be around 8. (Oh the days with 8 people groups... Going after zombies on Halloween. And Killing those Zionites in PvP...)

This may or may not be the place to ask, but I was incapable of participating yesterday as I was repeatedly disconnected after the loading screen.

I have reason to believe after spending all the allotted time to try and fix the problem that my computer may not be "up to snuff" enough to play the game, even though in one of the earlier patches, it ran.

I have:
Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz
1.25 GB RAM
ATI Radeon x1600/1650 graphics card
Also over 50 GB of free space

I know I do not have the required/minimum ram but would that prevent the game from connecting?

It would seem such may have been the case, the further into development we venture; especially so, if attempting to connect outwith the 'North America' server region.

The less lag the better the experience I would say. But I would most certainly look into upgrading your RAM for sure.

Though I believe I will recieve a nice laptop as a graduation present to use for college.

I had a laptop last year. I ended up selling it for the money. While the portability is nice, the power of a desktop and expandability just really won me over.

If anything comparable to a laptop, I would most certainly get one of those netbooks. Very very convenient!

That reminds me, I need to get one of those NA beta "things".

The Patch bugs are COMPLETLY server-side.

Its a problem they had.
