Some other things of note:
1) The majority of the missions the general purpose is to capture the next point in order to win (with the exceptions being kill em' all and run for your lives missions). When a point is captured you should immediately work to get to the next point. There may be enforcers in the area, but you will better serve the team working to secure the next point instead of fighting those enforcers.
2) A reference to the above, but when the point changes and you kill the enforcer they will spawn closer to the next point and thus give the enforcers an advantage on that mission. In most cases that closer is not much closer because it is restricted to spawning them near where they died, but it is always going to be closer.
3) Know the enemy weapons and match up accordingly. If the enemy is using all NL9's then you may want to go with one close range, one medium range, and two long range (or two medium and on long range). Know what the weapon is good at and how to counter it.
4) Know what you can and can't do with your weapon. For example you cannot sprint with the SHAW in hand, so switch to the pistol and beat feet if needed. Be aware that a sniper rifle, OBIR, SHAW, and OSAMAW are generally support weapons (with the last two being more for cars and not people). Not to say you cannot kill with them, but you will not lead the count with them.
5) Be willing to accept other roles and playstyles, such as the support character, bait, driver, and assault. There is nothing wrong with getting stunned a lot if there is a teammate waiting in the wings to take out the enforcer while they attempt to arrest you. There is also nothing wrong with softening up the target so those at the point will stand a better chance defending themsevles when the enemy rolls in.
