A dirty cab pulled up to the curb and stopped, the driver turned to his passenger and promptly told him the cost of the fare.

"That'll be 34 dollars mister." Prompted the driver. The man in the back seat handed the driver two twenty dollar bills. "Keep the change." The man responded, then quickly exited the vehicle and shut the door before the driver could say a thing. Reaching up to move the Arctic white hair from his face, the man turned to see the cab driver looking at him through the window, the white haired man made a shoo! gesture with his hand and the driver pulled away. He then reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper, looked at the building in-front of him then back at the paper, apparently satisfied he stuffed the paper back into his pocket and proceeded inside the bar.

Upon entering the bar he checked his watch and noting that the time was correct moved up to the bar itself and ordered a drink. "A dry martini, One. In a deep champagne goblet." The man said. "Right away sir" came the barman's swift reply. "Just a moment. Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?" "Certainly, sir." The barman seemed pleased with the idea. As if on cue a rather older looking gentleman walked into the establishment with a briefcase. The newcomer eyed the customers in the bar and finding who he was after made his way to a back table.

The white haired man, took his drink, and tossed a bill onto the bar, he then turned and headed back to the same table the older gentleman had went to. He abruptly sat down, took a long sip of his drink then inter-laced his fingers into a single fist and rested his hands on the table, the older man grunted once then asked "Do you know why your here Mr.Dice?" the white-haired man smirked, he had not been called by that name in a long time. "I'm here Mr.Roes, because you have a problem that you want gone, and you don't have the will to do it yourself." Mr.Roes' eyes widened and his jaw nearly hit the floor in dismay. "Well I never! I have the will to do it myself you criminal!" Dice raised his glass to his lips and took another drink, savoring the taste, he set the glass back down, then looked at Mr.Roes. "Well then, if you have the will to do it yourself, get up, and walk out of here." The answer hit the older man square. Mr.Roes did not move, he simply looked down, then back up clearly frustrated "Why should I hire you over any other whackjob out there?! How do I know you won't take my money and do a half-assed job?!" Mr.Roes snapped. "Because." Dice paused to take another drink. "If you honestly thought I'd take your money and half-ass this job, you wouldn't still be sitting here, also you want this job done right and you know from the people that referred me to you, that I have a nice record of just that." Eye-balling the old man he let a slight grin show. Mr.Roes, obviously seeing Dice's point was valid, sat up and sighed. "Very well, all the information you need to contact me, is in this briefcase, but I warn you, once you see what I need done you might not want to take my offer."

Standing up to his full height Dice once again moved the hair from his face, reached out and grabbed the briefcase, dragged it off the table and told the older man "Go ahead, make my day." He then turned and walked out of the bar. Mr.Roes just stared, wondering what kind of trouble he had gotten himself into.

((Hello, My real name is DK, also as Knaak, Dice, or Evil/Darkside (Depending on the game of course.) and I saw your recruitment post on the APB forums, I've been into forum role-playing for quite sometime, although not recently, and I've decided to move it over to APB for a unique RP experience, as mentioned before I have not had much experience as of late, but I'm always up for trying and learning.))

(This is wonderful. A welcome air of unabashed cool-ness within our nest of ragged old sportcoats and old newspaper. Welcome to the Rain Dogs. I'd really encourage you to continue this within Wanderer.)
